May 22, Homeward

Time to head to the airport. Mom and Dad were flying out of Kaohsiung, but the rest of us, including Josh and Paula for their honeymoon, needed to get to Taipei. An early bus ride was the order of the day. We were back to heavy travel mode, with all the bags and all the stroller.

Josh and Paula had to get to a different airport for their flight, so there wasn't much time left. While waiting we talked about various family things, like the potential awkwardness of goodbye hugs and kisses with other parts of the family. As we were waiting in the airport we got a call from Mom and Dad who were waiting in layover at the other terminal. Unfortunately too far a distance for us to get together. We said goodbye to each other with hugs, but no kisses.

Goodbye, Taiwan.
